From January to March 2011 we received feedback on the following issues via our online feedback form

A few customers alerted us to occasional technical problems they experienced whilst using our website services or about other issues regarding publications offered. These included broken links, missing information and problems with downloadable literature. Each incident was fully addressed in responses. We received a compliment concerning Natural England’s webpages and how easy it was to use.
A number of complaints were made by individual licensing applicants ranging from overall speed of the process to unhappiness with a staff member and specific decisions made by the Wildlife Licensing Team.
A complaint was received about HLS agreement and cattle feeding and poaching. A customer was also concerned that Natural England had funded a tarmac car park at Farley Mount.
The complaints we received ranged from licensed hunting with dogs, cutback of hedgerows/trees, dog fouling and tree felling operations at NNR sites all of which were fully addressed in responses and action taken where necessary.
We received a comment relating to incorrect details displayed on a coastal footpath map and the treatment of a conservation path.
The complaints we received ranged from a non-statutory planning enquiry, planning law and licensing procedures to planning applications.
We received a positive comment concerning adder research and collaboration and a complaint that upland managers should be considering more carefully the impact of burning on adders.
We received praise for 2 members of staff.
