Horn Park Quarry is a disused limestone quarry, once worked for local building stone. It contains superbly preserved fossils from the Inferior Oolite, particularly ammonites.
Horn Park Quarry is within the Dorset AONB with links to the Jurassic Coast.
The site is ‘closed’ as a result of the limited access to the NNR and our tenure. People wishing to visit the site can do so by prior arrangement with the Senior Reserve Manager or local team.
