DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

COUNTY OF Dorset
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981> as amended by the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006, that by the Durlston National Nature Reserve NO.1 Declaration 2008 made on the 6th day of June 2008 Natural England declared that the land having a total area of 110 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Parish(es) of Swanage in the County of Dorset and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on the map(s) attached to the said Declaration, is being held by Dorset County Council, a body approved by Natural England, and managed as a nature reserve.
Certified copies of the Durlston National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 2008 have been deposited for public inspection free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Dorset County Council, Purbeck District Council and at the offices of Natural England at Slepe Farm, Ame and Head Office at Sheffield.
