There are plenty of opportunities for getting more involved on the reserve with Natural England and its partners.

Volunteering

There are lots of opportunities for volunteering at Teesmouth NNR, including conservation management, wildlife monitoring, and helping with events.

Guided walks and events, schools and groups visits

Natural England’s Outreach Officer runs a range of guided walks and activities for individuals and groups throughout the year. See the North East's regional events page and the School and Community groups page for more details.

There is a variety of curriculum based educational programmes based at Teesmouth. The Teesmouth Field Centre (tel: 01429 264912/ www.teesmouth.freeserve.co.ukexternal link), adjacent to North Gare, offers a range of activities for schools and colleges. These activities are free but must be booked in advance.
