Supported by Natural England, the Country Parks Network exists primarily as a networking opportunity for practioners interested in, or managing, country parks or related sites delivering similar functions.

Highlights sites registered with the network as calling themselves a country park or delivering the functions of this type of site
Shares good practice, policy guidance and relevant news
Members also receive by e-mail updates highlighting relevant news and developments. Key Network components
Anyone can join the network if they have an interest in country parks and a desire to share and/or keep in touch with developments, news and good practice, relating to this type of site.

The network has a Steering Group which has played a key role in supporting Natural England to establish the accreditation scheme for country parks.
