The London Region is the area encompassed by the administrative boundary of the Greater London Authority. It includes 32 London boroughs and the City of London.
Although one of the largest urban conglomerations in Europe, almost two thirds of London is comprised of greenspace and wetlands. This includes extensive areas of green belt, many large parks and open spaces and, of course, the River Thames. More about the London region.
